Grey Arches - this moth has wingspan of 46-58 mm. The marbled appearance can vary in colour as well as the marking. The flight period is from June to August. In the day they rest with excellent camouflage. The main lava foodplants are Hawthorn, Bramble, Salix and Honeysuckle. They are night flying and attracted to light and sugar. Photographed in Co.
