Irish status: Widespread and Common

Common White Wave - This moth has wingspan of around 33 mm. It flies from May to August. The lava will feed mostly on Silver Birch and Alder. Quite widespread and common in Ireland. This one was photographed in Co. Leitrim flying in early July.
