Irish status: Widespread and Common

Straw Dot - This is a small common widespread moth with a wing span around 22 mm. It is night flying and attracted to light. A very delicate looking moth. There are two generations that fly in early and late summer. These observed at Greaghnafarna Co. Leitrim in August.
