Broom Moth - this moth has a wingspan of 32-37 mm. They can vary in colour from a grey dark brown to a lighter more chestnut colour. It flies from May to July and is attracted to light. The lava food plants include bramble, broom and bracken. Photographed in Co. Leitrim.
