Blue-bordered Carpet - has a wingspan of 22-28 mm. It's main foodsources are blackthorn and alder. They fly from June to September and prefers inhabited areas of hedges, forests, orchards and gardens. Photographed in Greaghnafarna Co. Leitrim in July.
