Marpesia petreu
A large butterfly with black dagger-like tails. It has an average wingspan of 3.5". One of the main foodplants is common fig. Well camouflaged appearing like a dead leaf. It is found in many habitats such as tropical woodland and forests. I photographed this one in the Yucatan in Mexico.
