Holly Blue - As it's name suggests, the main foodplant of this powdery blue butterfly is holly. Especially in the spring. In the autumn though it switches to ivy as it's main foodplant. These photographs were taken in the holly bushes in my garden. Greaghnafarna Co. Leitrim.
