Green-veined White - This butterfly is found in meadows, hedgerows and sometimes alongside the Orange Tip as it seems to feed on similar plants. This one does not invade our cabbage plants as the Large White does!

A pair of green-veined white butterflies mating. The Green Veined White emerges in April. The eggs are laid in July or August. The pupae will hibernate all winter and emerge the following year.
