Small Dotted Buff - These small moths fly from June to August. They have a wingspan of around 22 mm. The male as shown here is larger than the female and the straw coloured wings are not so well marked and have a sheen. They are attracted to light. This one photographed at Greaghnafarna Co. Leitrim.
