Irish status: Common Locally

Ear Moth agg. - Flies in August and September. There are similar species of this moth which are not distinguishable without dissection. For that reason they are mostly recorded as Ear Moth agg. It has a wing span of around 33 mm. Observed at Greaghnafarna Co. Leitrim.
