Irish status: Widespread and Common

Flame Shoulder - This moth has two generations flying in May and June and August to September. It has a wingspan of around 31 mm. Quite easy to identify with the white margins down outer edge of the the wings. Quite widespread and common. Photographed in Leitrim flying in early July.
