Irish status: Rare Immigrant
Crimson Speckled - Spectacular moth especially in flight. Mainly from the Mediterranean and North African regions. It is a very rare moth in the UK and Ireland. I came across this wonderful moth in the Algarve during daylight at Cabanas De Tavira in Portugal.
